There have been a lot of changes and improvements in the medical arena in the recent
past. These changes are meant to influence the provision of safe, quality, and patient-centered
health care. For instance, technology has spearheaded these changes, and it is actively growing to
ensure that more diseases are treatable in the best way possible. On the other hand,
communication is vital in the provision of health care as it attracts many benefits accruing to
both sides of the receipts and the providers. On most of the cases, when decision making in
healthcare is shared, quality care will be achieved as the decision will be solid and will have an
evidence-based approach. A collaboration between various stakeholders is also paramount in
standard healthcare provision. Patients, clinical staff, members of the healthcare team, and
insurance companies, among other stakeholders, need to evaluate and arrive at conclusions
collaboratively. Conclusively, adoption of new technological approaches, effective
communication, strict enforcement of policies ad a collaboration between various stakeholders
helps in the provision of quality healthcare.
