Business in Taiwan and its relation to America
Taiwan has been a world economic power well known for its exportation of high
technological products. Its market is free and diverse in nature and being ranked the fifth in
Asia’s pacific region is just one of its minor achievements. It is a major exporter of technological
products likes electronics, electronic components chemical and machinery. It also practice
agriculture as it is a large producer of tea and rice. There is not enough farm products except for
the tea and rice for export which has forces Taiwan to mainly import the agricultural products to
cater to the high demand. Throughout the decade Taiwan has been gradually improving its
economic growth despite the hindrances such us the 2002-2007 recession. Production and
manufacturing of its major products were affected but still it was able to recover from that and is
now stable economically.
Still, Taiwan is expanding as it now has emerging industry. First there is the eco-tourism
project to promote tourism and boost the government’s revenue and GDP. The biotechnologies
industry is also coming up as well as green energy to cub industrial growth. Other improvements
include healthcare and medical services together with organic farming. The cultural innovation
which includes media focusses on producing future cultural products that will be consumed both
domestically and others exported. The government on the other hand is supportive of other
sectors like music, sports, film and television. It look forward to being the best economy all
round.
Technology so far has brought us all closer than ever before. We have been able to
communicate across thousands of miles in seconds; there has been a global connection of
strangers eventually being close friends. Various people today get jobs far away from their
