ETHICS IN NDIS 2
Introduction
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an independent statutory agency that is
explicitly mandated to implement plans that can support a better life for many Australians living
with significant and permanent disabilities. However, this agency in the recent past has been
criticized and received various allegations of fraudulent activities being current out in the firm.
In this paper, the focus will be laid on analyzing the ethical aspects of various cases reported by
individual and the resulting actions of the allegations to the people involved (ndis.gov.au, 2019).
Ethical Dilemma
In the ideal context of ethically unfit activities being conducted to the level of being
successful in NDIS raises more attention to the agency and in the long run, has resulted to
various countermeasures being put in place. For example, in the recent cases reported by

resulted in more than a million being siphoned from the pockets of NDIS. In a case reported by
probono news, approximately $9.3 million had been siphoned from the agency through more
than 20 fraudulent activities. On the other case reported by the theguardian.com, $1.1 million
was reported to be stolen from the agency by five individuals. The ethical dilemma in these cases
is explicated in various ways even though the end of the line conclusions can be made as the
activities carried out were ethical suspect.
In the case reported by theguardian.com.com, the five individuals alleged with fraud were
controlling and exploiting three of NDSI service providers giving way for more than $1.1 million
being claimed. Ethical dilemma explicated in this scenario is the fact that while the service
