EVIDENCE BASED PROPOSAL PROJECT 2
Abstract
Adequately staffing nurses in all departments that require their expertise results in
positive outcomes for the patient's health needs. The emergency department in acute care settings
demands an even more rigorous mix of professionals with nurses playing a pivotal role in
ensuring the timely delivery of care and attention. However, in hospitals across the United States
and the world over the emergency department remains to be the most understaffed areas in
clinical practice. As a result, impacts the health outcomes of individuals who frequent this area
while the healthcare center stands to lose its reputation. Developing an adequate Emergency
Department nurse staffing plan is, therefore, crucial while basing the arguments and reason for
research articles for evidence. It is essential to think upfront the methods through which the
proposed changes can undergo implementation. Similarly, it is necessary to consider
organizational structure, financial aspects, and the technology required as well as the
dissemination of evidence plan.
