1. Natural selection is often described as an inference from three facts. What are these? Explain
briefly.
In Darwin's theory natural selection is regarded as inference from three facts that are further
based upon five facts. These facts have been derived from phenomena of inheritance as well as
from population ecology. The first inference states that there exists always a struggle among the
individual of the population. Due to the available resources there are more and more individuals
are producing but overall size of population remains constant. This show there is a strong
struggle exists all the time among population for the survival of even a small part of each
generation. According to second inference of the Darwin's theory, the struggle for existence is
not random in nature but it comes in part from inherent/genetic constitution of survival
population. This is termed as unequal survival of individuals and led to a process of natural
selection. The third and last inference further confirms the process of natural selection towards
evolution of new generation/species after undergoing gradual modification of populations. These
inferences have been normally observed in biology and even fossils demonstrate such
observations.
2. What was Darwin’s disagreement with A.R. Wallace?
Unlike A.R Wallace, Darwin has neglected one most significant thing and it was how to deal an
exception man with his theory of evolution. On the other hand, Wallace the cultural as well as
language component that form a man does not have accordance with Darwin’s views. Darwin
only focus on animal studies, while Wallace stressed upon the fact that whole mankind has been
going through most conservative to technologically advanced phase of development. And they
have used various symbols as well as languages to form their respective culture. Furthermore, he
