Music Boom
Music is one of the most affected industries whenever nature forces changes because, for
music to thrive, it relies on the audience. As per the article, the pandemic was fair to the music
industry because there were gainers and losers from the restrictions imposed by the government
that barred some activities like live shows and performances. On the positive side, people under
lockdown could stream music from various online platforms, and music was still sellable through
channels like YouTube because of the introduced copyright regulations (Murphy,2021). I agree
that the changes might be long lasting such as people not attending performances, but embracing
live streams are also beneficial to musicians; thus, the music industry will bloom but slower. The
covid-19 effects are sensible such that musicians and the management can be divergent to embrace
several approaches of ensuring that they remain relevant amidst inevitable occurrences such as the
pandemic. Suppose the music controllers adjust their past presentation the same way they moved
from CDs to online video; therefore, the music remains steadfast with a massive audience(
Murphy, 2021). Many people got solace from music during the pandemic, among other online
entertainment. Even after the introduction of vaccines, among other containment measures, the
music got a new twist. Musicians ought to adjust positively and remain flexible to enable the boom
in their industry, regardless of natural disruption. Music is a big business requiring varied strategies
to earn from it despite market challenges.
