NARRATIVE ANALYSIS
Issue; the issue is the challenges faced by high school immigrants.
The issue of immigration has imposed a significant challenge to high school students.
Especially in the United States, the main problem is evidenced by the difficulties that these
students face before they adapt to the new environment. Competence with the English language,
ethnic identity, and Naturalization are some of the common challenges that face these students.
Moreover, it was found that immigrants in schools lead to ethnic conflicts, racism, and fear of
social consequences (Bayar, 2016). The problems of high school immigrants have reduced in
the past decade. This is because; states have encouraged students to access education all over the

Frame: George was a father of Kelvin and Jeff. They all lived in the United States as
immigrants. Jeff performed well in primary and got a scholarship to go and study in France. He
met with a friend called Austin. Austin emigrated from Africa, and he did not know how to
speak French. He used not to attend public events and even experienced problems in the
classroom. The other students neglected him because he was not able to communicate. Finally,
he was taken back to Africa since he could not get anything in class.

2019). The value of the story is how it recognizes the impacts brought about by language
barriers to high school immigrants. The belief I would wish to change is the inability to be
unable to try something new. You are accepting the fact that you are not capable of knowing
