The kind of injustice that Martin Luther King finds in Birmingham was the separation
that existed between the black and white folks. In such instances, African Americans were
treated in a manner that can be regarded as being inhumane under the watch of the white-led
government. It is this type of injustice that disappointed Martin Luther King and he felt that there
should be a change. Notably, the change should have started with the city government which was
the epicenter of hate.
Question Two
Martin Luther King had expressed a huge deal of disappointment in the white churches
due to their refusal to support his fight for equality. For the case of King, he wanted to institute
change in the city of Birmingham and hence he thought that the church would offer the place
where he would lay the foundation for his efforts. Even so, the white church offered little or no
support for his course. That being the case, he felt disappointed given the fact that his
expectations were not met.
