WRU CASE STUDY 2
WRU Case Study
You have been called in as a consultant to analyze the operations at WRU. What would you
advise?

market, the company is unable to adjust and innovate according to the changing market
environment, low levels of motivation, and there is increased blame game among departmental
heads.
WRU should focus on the following:

not investing in product promotion and marketing, and second, the widgets are not intertwined
with the needs and demands of the customer (Pinto, 2016, p. 43). The company needs to survey
the market to establish the rate of acceptance of their products in the market and come up with
strategies to boost productivity and profitability.
Second, departmental heads constantly blame each other. What this implies is none is
willing to take responsibility for their actions. This leads to low levels of motivation among
subordinates and constant project failures (Kloppenborg, 2019, p. 105). The company should
reevaluate the duties and responsibilities of each manager, their respective departments, and
develop new and more effective communication protocols, to optimize operations in the entire
firm (Kloppenborg, 2019, pp. 105-106).
Augment internal communication. Communication is a significant facet of any
organization. When it lacks, goals and objectives are not attained leading to failure. Effective
communication entails sharing knowledge, outlining clear expectations, and prompt response
