Animals are composed of multicellular eukaryotes in the Animal Kingdom. They consume other
organism to maintain the consumption. Animals have specialized cells and into a higher level of
organization. Animals only have a simple life cycle (cK12 Foundation, 2015)
2. Describe at least two differences between Kingdom Animalia and other kingdoms of life. (2 pts)
The two differences of Kingdom Animalia from other kingdoms of life are; (1) Kingdom Animalia
does not have photosynthetic pigments unlike Kingdom Plantae. (2) Kingdom animalia are
multicellular organisms having eukaryotic cells that have nuclei and organelles (Gee, 1998).
