JUSTICE.

Abstract.

Justice is the act of promoting equity by enhancing the implementation of the enactment

of the rule of law in a country. Justice is very crucial in a nation in that it promotes ethical

behavior among the populace of a nation. The overall benefit of good ethical behavior is that

peace will be fostered, unity will also be fostered. These are just two of the very many benefits

that would be experienced as a result of observing the rule of law. For justice to be fostered or be

effectively implemented, there needs to be a properly laid foundation. The foundation for justice

can be of a diverse form. A most important foundation for justice is trust. Another crucial

foundation for justice is honesty. Last but not least, strict adherence and observation of the rule

of law is also another foundation for justice. The foundations for justice can also be drawn from

the work of an American philosopher known as John Rawls. When looking at John Rawls’

foundations of justice, we find out that he advocates for fairness of the citizens, freeness of the

citizens, and also equality of the citizens. These three aspects, according to John awls, form the

foundation on which justice prevails. They mean that citizens of a nation have the same rights

and liberties. These foundations for justice according to John Rawls relate well with what I

perceive as justice in my opinion. This is so because I believe in the equal treatment of everyone.

With regard to global economic justice, it involves fairness in conducting economic activities.

Social justice, on the other hand, involves the relationship between various societal groups.

There is a need that these groups are treated equally regardless of the circumstances they are in

or what they believe in.

Introduction.

In my opinion, justice can be used to mean that things are done in fairness and according

to the rule of law. It is a very crucial component of any society. This is because it leads to a wide

range of importance or benefits to the said society. Some of the benefits that may come about as

a result of exercising justice includes, peaceful coexistence among the people or residents of a

nation. When there is justice fostered in society, everyone will feel that they are facing equal

treatment and thus will prevent radicalism. Radicalism and resistance always come about when

people feel that they are unfairly treated by the people in power. Another importance of justice

would be that it discourages criminal activities such as violence, robbery among others. This is

because one has in mind that when he or she engages in such activities, he or she will be brought

to book and might even lead to one being sentenced and sent to prison Sharma, D. (2018). The

most important thing that justice enhances in the society, however, is a good overall ethical

behavior in the society. When the populace of a nation has good ethical behaviors, there will be

fewer disruptions, unity will be fostered, and most importantly, the peace of the nation will be

enhanced. Justice will not only prevail if there are no plans in place to ensure that it is successful.

It, therefore, calls for a strong foundation for justice in order to strengthen it. A very important

foundation for justice is trust and equal treatment of every single citizen.
