Throughout the course, I have acquired various skills that not only to my career
perspective but also personal development. Skills such as team player, ethical conduct, critical
thinking and problem solving, ethical skills, and decision making were part of the leaning.
The position of a manager requires a goal-oriented person and a critical thinker. The
added knowledge and skills will help me to manage my work effectively now and in the future. I
will be able to solve almost every situation that comes along my line of duty after extensive
thinking and discussion with the members of my team. Being a leader calls for a team player.
The playability skills garnered will be accredited to my success both on and off the field due to
my ability to accommodate people of different backgrounds and different capabilities. When in a
state of a puzzle, situations in a company require critical thinking and thorough evaluation, and
then the right decision is made based on the findings. The skills of ethical conduct will be a
booster to my area of work. As a manager, I will have an insight into understanding what is right
and wrong and what I should do. Understanding the ethical codes of a company is essential to
avoid conflicting with other employees in their respective capacities. Ethical codes define the
culture and structure of a company and have no defined boundaries (Drescher, 2013). They apply
to all members of the company. I should treat others the same way I expect to be treated both as
an employee and as a leader or manager.
To apply the knowledge and skills learned, more practical than a theoretical approach is
necessary. Without demeaning the different powers, problem-solving is the critical skill learned.
in my current and future position, I will try to answer as many problems as possible. Problem-
solving will require critical thinking and collaborations from different team members and
