Every organization has a desire to have an excellent and inclusive mission and vision
statement; however, it is not easy to come up with such. It requires proper evaluation and
consideration of some factors both inside and outside the organization. The mission statement
contains three major parts, and they include a statement of objectives and goals, core values, and
statement of vision and mission of the corporate.
The first factor that should be considered while formulating the mission statement is to
target customers or users of the product or services. For instance, a company dealing with
children's products should try as much as possible to highlight who their target in their mission
and vision statement. It is not logical to talk about serving the adult population, whereas the
company with children, toys, and dolls. The second issue that must be contemplated while
establishing a mission and vision statement is the public image of the company. In such a case,
some problems like corporate social responsibility must be considered. The public perception
plays a central part in determining how people perceive the company's brand. In the event that
the company lacks a good public image, it becomes hard to market its product to the target
customers. Lastly, the employees' concerns must be considered in these statements. They are the
primary resources in the organization, and they are the reason why the company keeps running.
An example of a company with an inclusive mission and vision statement is Samsung. It
states, "We will devote our human resources and technology to create superior products and
services, thereby contributing to a better global society" (Martin, 2019). From the mission
statement, the company portrays its concern about its human resources. Besides, it highlights its
endeavor, which is to offer high quality products to the target customer. The vision statement
