Analysis of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)
In the film of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) made by Ghibli's classics, it is
noticeable that all characters have very complex and distinct motivations thus all the characters
are trying their best in their particular circumstances thus, choosing heroes and villains may be
difficult. First of all, Manga is a publication and anime are an animation. Thus, manga is more of
a whole package for anyone as it is in variety, both genders, genre and ages can enjoy a manga.
Thus, anime is more of plastic as it does not have the originality of Manga, an anime is a
duplicate of manga with not so much reality but rather fictious.

Miyazaki is an old man who might not be so much conversant with technology, however
he made the decisions he made because of the love he has for kids. It is evident even from his
reasoning that he stands out clear about the things that he finds he does not find quite impressing.
It is clear that there is a great difference not only in the plot but totally everything about the
anime contradicts the manga, and yes t is very evident that the meaning and message from the
anime is totally different from the manga thus making it look like the anime was actually a big
mistake.
The effect on the anime is different from that of the manga, one can tell this by
comparing the two. Because there is even a great difference in the skin tone of the characters, the
manga is more factual than the anime. The manga shares a diverse setting, many themes and
many characters as well as facts as compared to the anime. It is also known to the consumers of
manga the familiarity that the film often adopts before the story and this also is not seen in the
anime. There’s originality in the voice characterization as it gives the audience meaning. And
this drastically switches when the language is changed or translated. Therefore, the English
version of the film has totally deprived the audience the originality of the film.
It is notable that Patrick Stewart was used in voicing the anime of Nausicaa of the valley
of the wind. Because of the voicing that he has done in so many animations which have made big
sales over the years, his experience in voicing was of vital role in this anime. And so, has Shia
LeBeouf who is well known for voice acting and, in this animation, he was used to make the
English version on the Asbel character. Uma Thurman has also been used in the English version
of the film she has voiced Kushana’s Voice in English dub. Basically, these two actors and one

actress have been used to bring together the plot development of the anime English version of the
film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984). They have been used to bring out the reality in
the film through the impact of their voices.
