My opinion about open borders
Borders exist for the sake of existing, to demarcate the boundaries and to show the political
and geographical division between countries. So do we really have to use them as a way to
create apartheid between people? I completely disagree with that.
Borders all over the world are closed for poor people, who struggle wars and disasters, while
they are completely open for rich people. Britain’s borders are obviously focusing on
keeping immigrants and undesired people far from their country . So that means that people
turn back because they don’t have enough money, which basically means that their lives are
getting harder, when a rich millionaire is easily allowed to travel to Britain just to have a cup
of coffee at his favourite café.
Lots of people with their families have to leave their homes because of different reasons,
such as weather problems or political reasons, and Europe is always a target for them. But it
has been reported that more than 5 000 immigrant last year died when they were trying to
reach Europe. So this proves that borders only produce violence but do not stop
immigration.
I fiercely criticize the idea that the borders worldwide are open for a specific group of people
and is not for another. It shows how money and business became much important than
humanity. I fully support the idea of building a world where no more people have to struggle
or die, just to be able to run from a disaster or poorness, to have a better life.
