a. The metaphor of the mountain explains that life is a journey where everything in life gradually change from
young age to old age, it says that although the trees are cut down the mountain changes but it`s still retaining
its natural beauty, this also applies to human beings they retain their wisdom when they get old.
b. The Author thinks that human nature is ‘’bad’’ (uncooperative and untrustworthy), I don’t agree with the
author because, eventually when a child is born he or She tend to be very innocent, he or she is committed to
good deeds only but as he or she continue to grow they change learn evils so what I am saying is that evil is
learnt not born. Although the author is showing human nature as bad not all human is bad there are still quite
number of Good peoples in the world.
c.
There are quite number of forces that can undermine a beautiful soul and eventually change the whole
human to a new character, they include Pride, Unkindness, Dishonesty, Disrespectfulness and Hate. Having
pride is one of the ways to fall, also the fruits of the holy spirit teaches us to be kind to others. In God ten
commandments they say you shall not also be disrespectful to others may change a beautiful soul and a good
character to a bad one.
d. Everybody was once a kid who never knew Wrong or Right, as we grow and diverse into different life each
one become responsible of their own deeds some got influenced by regions, cultures and religions example
for those who decided to follow Christianity they were taught to believe and to follow core value like
honesty, respect, kindness and love.
