Culture does have an influence on personality because the family and group
of people you grow up with will teach a person their beliefs and traditions.
Culture always develops the personality of a person because of what they are
around and experience while growing up. Everything included in the
surrounding of a person's culture, such as, family and church will mold a
personality as a person grows up and becomes an adult. People are
motivated by the interactions between other people in their culture. I believe
unconsciously a person picks up the beliefs and traditions of their culture just
by experiencing them on a daily basis.
I see a person's reaction to something as a result of social experience.
Because traits are tendencies to act, think, or feel in consistent ways that
interact with external influences. I believe that means someone's reaction will
be stimulated by an social experience. If someone see a car accident that will
stimulate their reaction to that accident.
I feel behavorial disposition in the nature of traits shows that someone reacts
to outside stimuli. I believe that trait is more true then neurophysiological
substrates that states a person's reaction would be based more from a central
nervous system reaction. Even both traits shows there is a reaction to stimuli,
the positions show different ways of getting to that reaction.
