In the reading exercise, I discovered several vital lessons that worth consideration. One of

the lessons learned in project screening. Project screening refers to the early analysis of project

appropriateness for the selection and application process that assesses many project candidates to

discover opportunities to determine if the additional time and effort spent on other business cases

is worthwhile (Shtub & Rosenwein 2017). The Project Screening using a variety of approaches

and methods to examine the project's strengths and flaws. Project managers use screening

methods must be devised to reject ideas that are manifestly inefficient and without value. There

is a significant problem in conformity with the organization's goals, current product and service

lines, and resources (Shtub & Rosenwein 2017). In evaluation alternatives early on and including

a wide range of factors into the study, where the scales of these criteria may differ, make

screening and assessment considerably more challenging. As a project manager, understanding

the rating checklist will help me in the screening process. It is ideal for removing the most

unfavorable offers from consideration. Rating checklists demand a small quantity of information

for utilization when available data is restricted or where there is a provision of just approximate

estimations.
