Introduction
Google Inc was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. It started as an American
search engine. Later on, it developed to offer search capabilities to the whole world. Its
headquarter is in Mountain View, California. The company has advanced from being a search
engine to offering other products and services (Daskal, 2018). There are more than 50 products
among them being online email, mobile software, and cloud services. In 2012, the company
further bought shares in Motorola thereby being in a position to sell hardware content. The
picture below shows the founders of the company.
The company portfolio is one of the topmost influential companies in the high-tech sector along
with IBM, Apple and Microsoft (Daskal, 2018). It also promotes Google advertising.
