Question Description

In the electrolysis of 144 g of water, how many liters of oxygen are prepared? (1.0 mol of a gas equals 22.4 L gas) 

If 150 grams of nitric acid, HNO3, can be prepared from the reaction of 142 g of NO2 with 51.0g H2O according to the equation below? 

Should the sum of the masses of the reactants equal the sum of the masses of products?
