Question Description
Write a program metric.c that asks users for their height in feet and inches, written
for example as 5’7”, and converts it to centimeters, printed to a single-digit accuracy. Note that feet
are represented by a single forward quote ’, and inches by a double open quote ” (not by two single
quotes). Also recall that a foot is 12 inches and an inch is 2.54 centimeters. The program should run as
follows:
(˜)$ a.out
Your height in feet and inches: 5’6"
You are 167.6 cm tall.
(˜)$ a.out
Your height in feet and inches: 6’5"
You are 195.6 cm tall.
