Description
When starting engine the starter drags then picks up speed and starts. Some times when I turn the key the gauges react but no starter turn over. After several tries the starter will go. What could be the problem?
Explanation & Answer
Hi,
It sounds like you have a bad starter brush. This is a carbon like material that makes contact and supply voltage to the commutator. Since that only very few are selling starter rebuilt kit, you will probably need a new starter. If you are living in the states, you can have autozone, oriely, pep boys check your stater for free.
