Explanation & Answer

Rhetorical questions are very important in writing. They can have both the negative and positive effects on the listener depending on how and who they are posed to. One of the positive effects is that they make the listener get involved by making him or her think about all the possible answers. They are very important in making and emphasizing a point as well as introducing a point. Rhetoric questions encourage the listener to consider a message. Most importantly rhetoric questions make the writing memorable. Conversely, they also come with some drawbacks. One of the disadvantages is that they get the listener confused since they make him or her start thinking about them thus diverting his concentration. Rhetoric questions may sometimes cause boredom depending oh how they have being used.
