Description
Hi, I was wondering how to know if my 1990 Toyota truck with the 3vze engine is worth fixing it overheated many times though after taking it apart it all looks pretty good I think the reason it lost power and refused to start may be because the timing belt slipped. please I would appreciate any thoughts on this
Explanation & Answer
It's because the 207 does not have gaurds over the disc, so they go rusty. ... All you can do is make sure you press hard on the brakes at least once on a journey! ... I have lost count how many times its been in the garage, this car is a total .... He also said the timing belt could have either stretched or slipped.
