Question Description

"...the power to amend the constitution is also limited. While it is true that parliament acting in constituent capacity ...can amend any provision of the constitution,,it cannot do so in a manner that would alter the basic structure or essential features of the constitution . Critically discuss the above quotation in the light of profound tension between constitutional making and basic constitutional sructure.
