1. Statement of Work
Tiger Gym is seeking proposals from contractors with relevant experience to develop a consumer
website for Tiger Gym & its franchisee locations. The objectives of this project are:
1. To develop a website with all listed functional and non-functional requirements with an
attractive and compelling customer interface
2. To incorporate new features of live chat with a trainer and work-out videos with the trainer.
This project must provide adequate website structure, resources and lay-out for Tiger Gym to:a. Enable prospective clients to successfully complete membership and make merchandise
purchases through the web-site
b. Connect current Tiger Gym members with their personal trainer through the new features of
live chat with a trainer
c. Serve as the go-to resource for potential customers and current members, containing all the
information provided by Tiger Gym
d. Provide the administrators with the opportunities to updates portions of the web-site as the
need arises
Tiger Gym web-site needs to be designed, coded, tested and deployed in two months, starting from
October 1st, 2014 and finish by December 31st, 2014.
The contents of this request for proposal is to be considered confidential information.

The web-site will require the following information when creating a new member
account:
• First Name
• Last Name
• Email address (that may be used as the default user-name)
• Password
• One Security question
• Answers to Security question
• Gender (Male or Female)
• Address
• One Contact Number
The web-site will allow the option to create a unique user name (if member doesn’t want
to use email-id as user-name) and enforce uniqueness so that no duplicates occur.
The web-site will check passwords selected by users to be in compliance with below
password policy:• Password should be at least 9 characters long
• Password should contain at least two of the following character groups: upper
case, lower case, numbers & special characters.
• Password expire every 30 days and have to be changed
• New Password can’t be the same as the last 10 passwords and should differ by at
least 2 chars
The web-site will send a confirmation email indicating the creation of a new account.
The email will include:
• An appreciation for choosing Tiger Gym
• Bio-data of the trainer assigned to the user
• Description of the Membership Plan selected
• Billing Confirmation
• Location information and hours of operation
The web-site will require existing member to authenticate to the system’s database. The
authentication process consists of entering:
• A valid email address/user-name of the member
• A valid password
The web-site will provide ‘Forgot Password’ functionality allowing users to reset their
passwords. The web-site will request the following information to have the password
reset:
• Email address used using signing up
• Answer to the security question
After confirming this information, the system will email the user a temporary 1-time use
password and instructions on how to set a new password.

The system will calculate the total and taxes based on products quantity and price. The

The system will show an electronic receipt. The following information must be included in
the electronic receipt:

The system will ask users to review the order information for insurance.
The system will confirm users by sending a shipping confirmation email when the order
status is changed to “Shipped” .The email will include:

The following section lists the non-functional requirements for the Tiger Gym website. The nonfunctional requirements include system usability, security, connectivity, and technology and failure

The web-site needs to be online 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The application will have a disaster recovery plan.
The web-site must be user friendly.
The web-site can be accessed by the employees and the customers (members/nonmembers).
The web-site must be able to handle 400 concurrent requests/hits.
The web-site must be able to handle 500 concurrent member user sessions.
The web-site must be able to handle 600 Shopping Cart transactions per hour.
The web-site will be protected with a firewall.
The web-site will encrypt all user and billing information.

The web-site will have a response time between 0.2 to 3 seconds.
The web-site will keep track of all visitors to the web-site.
The web-site will be supported on all mobile communication devices/cellphones which

3. Deliverables
a) Project plan (including the approach techniques, schedules, task list, price). Estimate of the
hours of work required to be finalized after discussions with Tiger Gym.
b) Project GANTT chart, which shall be updated as needed to reflect project status on an ongoing
basis.
c) One (1) project kickoff meeting with all the concerned parties & Tiger Gym representatives.
d) Host conference calls, facilitate discussion and issue conference call and meeting minutes
(MOM).
e) Publish Monthly project status reports.
f) Technology Recommendation Report to provide technical options to implement Tiger Gym website.
g) A Project Program/Technical Conference with partners and client representatives to determine
and/or verify business requirements, policies and standards.
h) Report for Technology & Security Requirements to support Tiger Gym website, including any
applicable: Infrastructure, and software requirements, technical, and security standards,
technical procedures.
i) List of project components and components supporting material(s)/documentation
j) Web entry forms layout and wireframes for data access via the application
k) Data flow implementation guide covering Data exchange between the front-end and database
l) Test Plan for performing: unit, integration, system, user acceptance testing

4. Acceptance Criteria
a. The project team will provide the project plan, call minutes, and monthly project reports and
then the Tiger Gym will approve for final acceptance.
b. The Business Requirement document will be reviewed by the project team to compare all
content deliverables to the defined business requirements specified by the Tiger Gym.
c. The Technology Recommendation will be followed by a review and approval of the
individual/partners involved in application development, security and web hosting. Once this is
accomplished, then final approval will be provided by Tiger Gym.
d. Verify and receive sign-off from Tiger Gym of content and compliance with IT standards and
procedures. Once this is accomplished, then final approval will be provided.
e. Verify and receive sign-off from www.godaddy.com of web-site content & compliance with
required standards and procedures for infrastructure hosting, installation, testing &
deployment. Once this is accomplished, then final approval will be provided by Tiger Gym.
f. Review and approval by Tiger Gym, including partner IT staff, to ensure acceptance of data
elements by www.godaddy.com (web hosting partner) for compliance with IT web hosting and
security. Once these reviews are completed, the Tiger Gym will consider the deliverables
acceptable and approve all invoices for payment.
g. Review and approval by Tiger Gym representatives, including program area experts, then
approval by partner IT staff experts followed by sign-off by Tiger Gym prior to agreement to
reimburse.
5. Items Supplied by Tiger Gym Company
Tiger Gym will provide the contractor with detailed information about its current services and
products, including the schedules, gym staff information and contacts. Tiger Gym will also
provide the contractor access to the facilities for filming of the panoramic 360 view of the gym
facilities, and filming of the gym trainers’ exercise sessions. Access to the facilities will be limited
to the members directly working on the project, but these members can enjoy our facilities as
they were our regular member, in order to understand better the way we operate as a
company.

The contractor must obtain the approval of Tiger Gym for the final version of the website before
it goes live.
Type of Contract
The contract will be for a fixed price for all the work the contractor performs to meet all the
requirements of this request for proposal.
Due Date
The contractor must submit the website structure for review no later than December 1st 2014.
Final version of the website that is ready to go live, after completion of all necessary
adjustments, has to be submitted to Tiger Gym on December 25th 2014.
Schedule
Tiger Gym expects to select a contractor by October 1st 2014. The required period of
performance for this project is three months, from October 1st to December 25th. Deliverables of
web-site must be provided to Tiger Gym by December 1st, and all the media materials – videos
and pictures must be complete by December 25th.
Payment Terms
Tiger Gym Company will make payments to the contractor according to the following schedule:
20% of the total amount upon approval of the Tiger Gym draft of the website structure
35% of the total amount when the website map is accepted by Tiger Gym
35% of the total amount when all the media materials are complete
10% of the total amount when Tiger Gym is satisfied that the project is 100% complete and the
contractor has fulfilled all contractual obligations
Proposal Contents
Approach
A discussion that indicates the contractor clearly understands the request for proposal and what
is expected. Tiger Gym expects to see a detailed description of the contractor’s approach to
creating the website and a detailed description of each task and how it will be accomplished.
Deliverables
A description of website structure, media items and other deliverables that the contractor will
provide
Schedule
A bar chart or network diagram showing the weekly schedule of the detailed tasks to be
performed each week in order to complete the project by the deadline
Experience
Recent similar experiences the contractor has had in creating a website with media items.
Include references to the previous project, names, email addresses and phone numbers.
Staffing
The names and resumes of the team members assigned to work on the project. Include
highlights of their experiences on creating a similar website.
Costs
State the total fixed price and support it by the breakdown of hours, hourly cost of each hour,
and include all direct expenses.
12. Proposal Evaluation Criteria
Tiger Gym will be evaluating all proposals according to the criteria listed below:
a. Approach (25%)
Approach and methodology used by the contractor to build the website.
b. Experience (20%)
The length of time the contractor was in the field of creating websites, and the reviews
of previous customers.
c. Price (35%)
The fixed price that the contractor lists in the proposal.
d. Schedule (20%)
The duration and attention to detail in creating the schedule of work to complete the
project before the deadline.
