Sedona engine problem
Question Description
I have a 2007 Kia Sedona van 100k and driving home today the oil light came on when I stopped at a light the vehicle shutoff but started right away. I pulled into a gas station and checked the oil and it was fine upon starting up again the engine was making a knocking noise, I proceeded to drive it home ( about 5 miles) and brought it to a local mechanic who upon listening to it said the motor was shot andthat the bearings were shot and I would have to replace the motor.
My question is can this happen in the course of a ten minute drive or should I get a different opinion?
