Question description

i need to get a good grade on this paper it is difficult for me to figure out can someone help please? the web sites are included.

instructions: answer all the questions below. the total amount of points for the assignment is 100, distributed as listed with each question. submit the responses as a single pdf or microsoft word document attached to this exercise.

1. (30 points) find one example each of a sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock. for each rock, provide a digital picture taken by you (no internet or other sources may be used), how the rock was obtained, where it originally came from if not local, what minerals comprise the rock, and the process by which the rock was originally formed.  identify the specific type of rock (i.e., granite, limestone, marble, etc.), not generically by the class of rock.

2. (30 points) assess the risks (on a scale of low, medium, high) from earthquakes and volcanic activity for your area and one other at least 1000 km away. when and how strong was the largest earthquake recorded in each area? contact the relevant state geologic survey (or equivalent) for this information, and also describe the cause of the quakes. what is the nearest large volcano to each area, and how long ago did it erupt last? what would the effects of a similar eruption be today on each area?

3. (40 points) provide digital photographs and locations of 20 different types of geomorphological features listed in the textbook. for each, include a brief description of how that feature was made and why it is located where it is.  the landforms must come from the following list, and all pictures must have source information (url if from an internet site or photographer, location, and date if taken by a specific person).  the description of the feature and its origin must be in your own words.  you may paraphrase, but not copy, descriptions from other sources but you mist cite that source (url, etc.).  extra credit will be given for photos taken by you.
