    Write a three to four (3-4) page paper addressing the criteria below. (Note: Change the title of the report to reflect the selected agency’s name and the years to 2013-2014.)

    1. Find the variances for both the revenue and expenditures sides and then discuss two to three (2-3) problematic areas for the agency. Provide the results of the variances in a table (Excel or Word).
    2. Recommend two (2) policy actions for each problematic area discussed in criterion 1. Justify the recommendations.

From the variance table above, the revenue side shows that the collected budget is out of
the estimated budget. We find that the total aid is $117, 00,000 during the first month and
considering three months, the total aid is up to $41,400,000. This is a clear indication that the
State aid collection is much far from the planned collection. From this 37% is collected coming
from the State Aid after three months instead of 25 % of the budget. During the first month only
7.63% had been spend, and after the three months we have 19.25% expenditure spent, this is a
clear demonstration of a sizable surplus. A deeper though demonstrates that the source of the
problem is the transportation department spending....
