The Rape of Lucretia (Ancient Rome)
Question Description
I’m suppose to write an essay based on the question given, “how does the story, ‘the rape of Lucretia’, espouse values of Republican Rome?” but my teacher has barely taught us about republican Rome yet since we just started the Rome unit. I’m not expecting anyone to tell me the complete answer but I need some help to get started. Could some please explain some points on how the story connects to Republican Rome?
