Question description

Bill Bob's potato cannon is fired from the top of a tower. The starting position for the potato is exactly 30 feet up. At its max height, the potato hits a target that is 120 feet out from the tower (horizontally) and 120 feet up (from the ground). What is the quadratic equation (in vertex and standard form) that represents the potato's position? If the target is moved 30 feet farther out, what should its height be so that the potato still hits it (with no changes to the cannon or wind...)?
