Probability and Venn Diagrams
Question Description
A survey of 125 returning CWU students found that 46 had voted in the last ASCWU BOD election, 30 had voted in the last general (statewide) election, and 16 had voted in both. Suppose that we choose one person at random from these 125 people.
(a) Estimate the probability that the person voted in either of the two elections mentioned in the survey.
(b) Estimate the probability that the person voted in exactly one of the two elections.
