Explanation & Answer

26.  Take the derivative of each part, then combine

d/dx (5th root of x) = (1/5)(x^(1/5 - 1)) = (1/5)(x^-4/5) = 1 / 5x^4/5

d/dx (-2/x) = (-1)(-2)(x^-2) = 2 / x^2

Now combine

1/5x^4/5 + 2/x^2
