Question description

Consider a parcel of air the approaches Canada's west coast from over the Pacific. DAR = 10c per km. MAR= 6C per km. DpR= 2C per km for dry air and DpR= MAR for saturated air. 

The air has a temp of 9C and a dew point temp of 5C. As air blows onshore, it's forced to rise from sea level (0m) over the Coast Mountains of BC (2000m) and then descends to 400M. 

What is the lifting condensation level in metres?
