Question Description

the equation is

h(t)=-16(12.2)^2+Vo(12.2)+3 and 3 is the initial height or you can use h(t)=-16(3.3)^2+Vo(3.3)+3 ( which was my previous equation )

Using the stop watch you will calculate the time it takes the object to leave the ground and land on the ground.

 Initial velocity - v_0

time at which the sticky bomb was at the highest point.

maximum height of the object.

all steps shown

where t=12.2

Supplement:

my teacher said incorrect. Your math does not make sense. It looks that it took 3.3 seconds for the object to be in the air. The equation you wrote "-16 (3.3) ^2+ 3.3 v0 +3" is good but you forgot to set it =0. With that equation you must solve for v. Unfortunately the number you wrote for v is incorrect; it is not 105.6 ft/sec You also forgot to use the x=-b/2a to find time, and then use that time to find height
