1.  A probability experiment consists of rolling a eight sided die and spinning a spinner that has 4 colors. Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow.  The spinner is equally likely to land on each color. Use a tree diagram to find the probability to the given event.  Then tell whether the event can be considered unusual.

Event:  Rolling a number less than 3 and the spinner landing on red.

The probability of the event is ___.

2.  Determine the probability that at least 2 people in a room of 14 people share the same birthday, ignoring leap years and assuming each birthday is equally likely, by answering the following questions:

(a.)  Compute the probability that 14 people have different birthdays.

(b.)The complement of 14 people have different birthdays is at least 2 share a birthday.  Use this information to compute the probability at least 2 people out of 14 share the same birthday. This question has not been answered.
