jack and jill are both standing on the same side of a hill. the incline of a hill has a constant slope; jill nearer to the bottom of the hill , and jack is farther up. jill kick a ball (that was sitting on the ground )to jack who trap it on the ground beneath on his foot . the hill can be modeled by the  linear function f(x)=-0.5x+1 the path of the ball is parabolic and is modeled by the functtion f(x)=-0.5^square +6.5x-9 (all distance are measured in feet)
