Rights over a property

timer Asked: Dec 31st, 2013

Question description

Hi, my name is Rachel,

My interest in a property as a tenant in common was dissolved early this year as I sold my share to another tenant so that I could buy a new house to move in with my boyfriend. Recently, another tenant from my previous address passed away and left his share in the property for me in a will. I would like to know what rights I have over the property now since I'm no longer living at the address. Am I a tenant in common again and able to move back in? or do I have an equitable interest in the property? Where do I stand now with the 3 other co-owners of this property?
