Westcliff University Backbone Network Installation for Small Company Report
Option 1You have been hired by a small company to install a backbone to connect four 100base-T Ethernet LANs (each using one 24-port hub) and to provide a connection to the Internet. Develop a simple backbone and determine the total cost (i.e., select the backbone technology and price it, select the cabling and price it, select the devices and price them, and so on). Prices are available at www.datacommwarehouse.com, but use any source that is convenient. For simplicity, assume that category 5, category 5e, category 6, and fiber-optic cable have a fixed cost per circuit to buy and install, regardless of distance, $50, $60, $120, and $300, respectively.Option 2You have been hired by a small company to install network infrastructure with shared storage. The office has 15 users. The accounting department, which has one user, does not want to be on the same network as the operation network and does not want to share the storage with any other users. Please consider the following Technology or some of it:Windows Server and ADDHCPSubNet MaskNASPrint ServerPlease provide diagrams of at least two design options. Discuss and compare the advantages and disadvantages of each proposed design and justify your recommendations. Consider cost, security, on-going maintenance, adding new users, printing, log-in, and Internet connection to all users.

Wake Technical Community American Revolutionary War Against Britain Discussion
PurposeAs we have seen in this unit, the origins of the American Revolution were complicated. While the Declaration of Independence has long been viewed as the beginning of the Revolution, in reality, the storm had been brewing for decades by the time Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence in 1776.In this essay, you will be analyzing and evaluating the causes of the American Revolution using both primary and secondary sources. In the process, you will be practicing one of the key skills in the historical thinking: evidence-based argumentation. Learning to make a clear argument that is supported by specific evidence is essential to the kind of critical thinking that your time in college should help you develop.TaskPlease ensure you read the following from the content of this unit:Assigned Readings:Ideas and Theories For and Against American IndependencePrimary Source: The Rights of the British Colonies Asserted and ProvedPrimary Source: Soame Jenyns and Samuel JohnsonEvents Contributing to the Rise of an Independence Movement in the Coloniessee images below"Bostonian's Paying the Excise Man, or Tarring and Feathering. Philip Dawe, CC0, via Wikimedia Commons.""Boston Massacre as portrayed by Paul Revere. Not entirely an accurate depiction of the event that transpired. Engrav'd Printed & Sold by Paul Revere Boston. The print was copied by Revere from a design by Henry Pelham for an engraving eventually published under the title "The Fruits of Arbitrary Power, or the Bloody Massacre," of which only two impressions could be located by Brigham. Revere's print appeared on or about March 28, 1770., Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons.""This is the place to affix the stamp. Bradford, William, 1719-1791, publisher. Illus. in: The Pennsylvania Journal and Weekly Advertiser, 1765 October 24. From the Library of Congress: https://www.loc.gov/pictures/item/2004672606/."Then, in an essay of at least 5 paragraphs and 1000 words:identify the main arguments used by supporters and opponents of American independence and why each side thought their viewpoint was correct. Then, identify the events portrayed in each of the three images and explain why they occurred, and combined with what happened after each event, show how they support for independence to grow. You should not limit yourself to discussing only these three events; simply use these three to help shape an analysis of various cause-effect relationships between the British and colonist actions.Expectations and Criteria for SuccessYou should base your discussion with the information in the course content; outside research is not allowed. As always, be sure to keep track of where you find your information so that you can provide citations in your final essay. Citations must be formatted according to the MLA guidelines, including both in-text and a final source page. Guidelines for MLA can be found using the Purdue Owl or you can reference the Citation Help.pdf from the Start Here Module of the course.Essays should be typed in 12-point font with a simple, clean font such as Times New Roman or Arial. Use 1" inch margins on all sides and double-space the text.Successful essays should be carefully organized, with strong thesis statements and specific evidentiary support from the primary sources themselves. Your introduction should include a clear statement of what you will argue in the essay (thesis statements are never questions). The body of the essay will include at least three paragraphs (though you can write more). Conclude by discussing the key conclusion you reached and why (remember not to use the first person in formal academic essays). Be sure to revise and edit carefully.

MBA5501 Columbia Southern Galaxy Restaurant Start Up Restaurant Marketing Plan
Throughout this course, you will compile a comprehensive marketing plan using one of the product/service scenarios listed below. (Note: You will use the same scenario throughout the course.) This scenario will be the basis of your start-up company and will be the catalyst for the three parts of the marketing plan that you will compose in Units II (Part I), IV (Part II), and VII (Part III). The company that you choose to submit a marketing plan for is a fictional start-up company (not an existing company). Scenarios for your start-up company are explained below. (Note that these descriptions are basic, and you will need to be creative and develop the business idea/model for your selected scenario.) Scenario #1 Travel Supreme is a start-up travel organization with the mission of assisting customers with travel planning. While today’s customers enjoy developing their vacations themselves, Travel Supreme believes there are travel services that are still in demand. Initial research needs to develop what types of travel services are in demand by this target market. Scenario #2 IT to Seniors is a start-up company interested in ensuring a positive experience for seniors (65 and older) with respect to the use of technological gadgets, software, the Internet, and/or any additional aspects of technology. Initial research will provide an idea of the business model that would be in most demand for this target market. Scenario #3 Galaxy Restaurant is a start-up restaurant developed with the idea of providing the customer with a unique dining experience. This could extend from the product offering, service offering, atmosphere, or a host of other unique experiences. Initial research will provide an idea of what this unique dining experience would look like. Scenario #4 Women on the Go is a startup company targeted at women who need assistance with the selection and purchasing of their clothing/accessories. This service is aimed at the more affluent customer who simply does not have the time and/or knowledge to dress to the business or social setting that they are expected to fulfill. Initial research will provide insight into the types of services that this particular target market would be interested in. Remember to choose one of the aforementioned scenarios to use for the entire course. Submissions will be completed in Units II, IV, and VII and, together, will comprise a full marketing plan. While this is a cumulative marketing plan, submit only the designated unit’s work. This unit’s submission should consist of the items listed below. Include an introduction/overview of the company. This section of the marketing plan should introduce the company and business model along with a brief description of the products/services.Discuss market research strategies. This section of the marketing plan should discuss the research strategies that will be used by your company to understand the target market(s), industry, competition, and/or any other aspects of the company that will provide valuable insight into profitable operations.Describe the macro environment through a political, economic, social, and technological (PEST) analysis. In this section, you will compile a PEST analysis of your company. You will analyze how the changes in the macro environment as described in the PEST will impact the company and, specifically, the marketing decisions. Ensure you provide an introduction for this assignment that is engaging and provides a clear background to the purpose of the assignment. The format of the submission should be in essay format using subheadings. Use APA format. Additionally, you need to include a minimum of five sources, three of which must be peer-reviewed, academic sources that are no more than 5 years old. The submission should be a minimum of three pages in length (not counting the title and reference pages).
