Clear guidance is given on what you should include, and further areas for consideration were provided in the case-study material provided via Blackboard. The case study is designed to give a realistic overview of a single breast cancer patient from screening, through diagnosis, to the gathering of prognostic information and treatment schedule. It is your understanding of this process, and the interpretation of Cellular Pathology-derived data that will be assessed. Content and structure: You do NOT need to repeat the patient-specific information given in the case study documentation in your report – this will not gain you marks. You will, however, need to apply a narrative to your report. The following guidelines should help with this. Particular areas are covered in this guidance, and/or specific questions posed for you to answer – however, in the interests of developing your writing skills, do NOT use these directly as subheadings in your report.
