Explanation & Answer

As we grow throughout our lives, we are told by our parents that if we study hard and get good grades, we'll be able to get a good job when we grow up.  Young survey respondents were concerned about education, jobs, and the economy because they coincide with one another.  School is very expensive, yet you need it to acquire a good paying job, which the economy plays a role in as well because it either has a high or low job demand.  Senior respondents have already gone to school, gotten their jobs, and are either still with their employer, or have retired.  Because of this, they have no need to worry about what the younger surveyers worry about.  Instead of worrying about the cost of school, or the amount of money they will make, they are concerned with the income coming in from social security and usually, planning a budget in regards to their health and healthcare.
