Explanation & Answer

Volume of the cube with sides 10 cm  = 10*10*10 = 1000 cm^3

Volume of the sphere with diameter 10cm = 4/3 pi *r^3 = 4/3 * 5^3 * 3.14 = 523.33 cm^3

Now we have to divide volume of the sphere by 2 = 261.7 = 262 cm^ to get a volume of half of the sphere.

Now we have to subtract half of the sphere form the volume of the cube

1000 cm^3 - 262 cm^3 = 738 cm^3
