# Model a pendulum in MATLAB with a proportional controller - Control Systems

**Question description**

Design a stable proportional controller with no/as little as possible step response steady state error for a pendulum.

Now, this needs to be done in MATLAB. All you need to do in MATLAB is to model the pendulum with a P controller with no/as little as possible step response steady state error. You must stay around the equilibrium. The goal of this is to control the angle of the pendulum.

Also in the script add a method that will display the transfer function of the pendulum model and find its root locus.

No need to do anything by hand, but you are free to do so if necessary. The primary goal is to model all of this in MATLAB.
