slope-intercept form of a line, find the equation of the line with slope 3/2 and
y-intercept –2. Then graph the line on the grid provided and explain how you determined your graph.

The slope intercept form of a line is
y = mx + b
where m is the slope of the line
and b is the y-intercept.
Here, m = 3/2 and b = -2
So, equation of the line is
We already know one point on the line which is the y-intercept (0, -2).
Now we need one more point to plot the line.
At x = 2
So, the other point on the line is (2, 1).
Draw a line passing through these two points.
