Question Description

You do not have to publish or post your web page on the internet. Simply keeping them in a word document and submitting them will be enough. Your grade will be based on the following rubric.

Your presentation should be 4 pages:

Page 1. Title Slide / Introduction
For this slide or page, you should:

  • Think of the overall design and layout, and
  • Check for appropriate use of grammar throughout your web page.
  • Assessment of this slide will be based on organization and presentation

Remember, you do not have to publish or upload your page, but you should be able to include links that would work if the pages were uploaded.

Page 2. Loyalty: 2 examples with support
For this slide or page, you should:

  • Show you have researched and explored the theme of loyalty and betrayal in The Kite Runner
  • Identify and explain different levels of loyalty and betrayal.
  • Site at least two examples from the text to back up your explanation
  • Show you understand how to use sentence variety by using compound sentences.
  • Pay careful attention to ideas, content and sentence fluency

Page 3. Betrayal: 2 examples with support
This slide/page is similar to the previous with different explanations and examples to back up your explanation of the theme:

  • Show you have researched and explored the theme of loyalty and betrayal in The Kite Runner
  • Identify and explain different levels of loyalty and betrayal.
  • Site at least two examples from the text to back up your explanation
  • Show you understand how to use sentence variety by using compound sentences.

For this slide/page, you will show evidence of research of the cultural context of the book.  You should include:

  • Evidence that you explored the topic chosen for the cultural context.
  • An explanation of how this topic allows for a greater understanding of the novel.
  • Pay careful attention to the ideas and content you include on this slide/page.
