Explanation & Answer
l = 6w
6w^2 = 216
w^2 = 216/6
w^2 = 36
w = 6
l = 36
perimeter = 2 (6+36) = 84 yd

Quality Improvement Proposal Identify a quality improvement opportunity in your organization or practice. In a 1,250-1,500 word paper, describe the problem or issue and propose a quality improvement initiative based on evidence-based practice. Apply "The Road to Evidence-Based Practice" process, illustrated in Chapter 4 of your textbook, to create your proposal.Include the following:Provide an overview of the problem and the setting in which the problem or issue occurs.Explain why a quality improvement initiative is needed in this area and the expected outcome.Discuss how the results of previous research demonstrate support for the quality improvement initiative and its projected outcomes. Include a minimum of three peer-reviewed sources published within the last 5 years, not included in the course materials or textbook, that establish evidence in support of the quality improvement proposed.Discuss steps necessary to implement the quality improvement initiative. Provide evidence and rationale to support your answer.Explain how the quality improvement initiative will be evaluated to determine whether there was improvement.Support your explanation by identifying the variables, hypothesis test, and statistical test that you would need to prove that the quality improvement initiative succeeded.While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion. You are required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite. Case Problem: Air Force Training Program
Case Problem: Air Force Training Program An Air Force introductory course in electronics uses a personalized system of instruction whereby each student views a videotaped lecture and then is given a programmed instruction text. The students work independently with the text until they have completed the training and passed a test. Of concern is the varying pace at which the students complete this portion of their training program. Some students are able to cover the programmed instruction text relatively quickly, whereas other students work much longer with the text and require additional time to complete the course. The fast students wait until the slow students complete the introductory course before the entire group proceeds together with other aspects of their training. A proposed alternative system involves use of computer-assisted instruction. In this method, all students view the same videotaped lecture and then each is assigned to a computer terminal for further instruction. The computer guides the student, working independently, through the self-training portion of the course. To compare the proposed and current methods of instruction, an entering class of 122 students was assigned randomly to one of the two methods. One group of 61 students used the current programmed-text method and the other group of 61 students used the proposed computer-assisted method. The time in hours was recorded for each student in the study. The following data are provided in the data set Training. DataFile: Course Completion Times (hours) for Current Training Method 76 76 77 74 76 74 74 77 72 78 73 78 75 80 79 72 69 79 72 70 70 81 76 78 72 82 72 73 71 70 77 78 73 79 82 65 77 79 73 76 81 69 75 75 77 79 76 78 76 76 73 77 84 74 74 69 79 66 70 74 72 Course Completion Times (hours) for Proposed Computer-Assisted Method 74 75 77 78 74 80 73 73 78 76 76 74 77 69 76 75 72 75 72 76 72 77 73 77 69 77 75 76 74 77 75 78 72 77 78 78 76 75 76 76 75 76 80 77 76 75 73 77 77 77 79 75 75 72 82 76 76 74 72 78 71 Managerial Report 1.Use appropriate descriptive statistics to summarize the training time data for each method. What similarities or differences do you observe from the sample data?2. Use the methods of Chapter 10 to comment on any difference between the population means for the two methods. Discuss your findings.3. Compute the standard deviation and variance for each training method. Conduct a hypothesis test about the equality of population variances for the two training methods. Discuss your findings.4. What conclusion can you reach about any differences between the two methods? What is your recommendation? Explain.5. Can you suggest other data or testing that might be desirable before making a final decision on the training program to be used in the future?

Rasmussen University Inferential Statistics and Analytics Worksheet
InstructionsScenario (Information repeated for deliverable 01, 03, and 04)A major client of your company is interested in the salary
distributions of jobs in the state of Minnesota that range from $30,000
to $200,000 per year. As a Business Analyst, your boss asks you to
research and analyze the salary distributions. You are given a spreadsheet that contains the following information:
A listing of the jobs by title
The salary (in dollars) for each job
In prior engagements, you have already explained to your client about
the basic statistics and discussed the importance of constructing
confidence intervals for the population mean. Your client says that he
remembers a little bit about hypothesis testing, but he is a little
fuzzy. He asks you to give him the full explanation of all steps in a
hypothesis testing and wants your conclusion about a claim that the
average salary for all jobs in the state of Minnesota is less than
$75,000.Background information on the DataThe data set in the spreadsheet consists of 364 records that you
will be analyzing from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The data set
contains a listing of several jobs titles with yearly salaries ranging
from approximately $30,000 to $200,000 for the state of Minnesota.What to SubmitYour boss wants you to submit the spreadsheet with the completed
calculations. Your research and analysis should be present within the
answers provided on the worksheet.

wk 1) Research an advertised truck rental price plan that does not include unlimited miles and provide the details of the advertisement. (e.g., $50/day with 200 miles included and $0.10 per additional mile.)Create your own similar truck rental price plan with different values. Be sure to not use the exact same values used in a previous post.Based on your plan, write an equation that can be used to determine the daily cost, D(t) of the rental when t miles are needed, and use that equation to calculate the total cost when 300, 1,000, and 2,000 miles are used.In your responses to peers, compare the total costs you calculated in Part 3 with those of at least two peers. Discuss the differences you notice and how they could have been foreseen by just comparing the formulas.=================================================wk 2) Use an outside source to search for a quadratic equation that models something from your daily life. (Be sure to cite the source you use.)Solve the equation in two ways.Discuss which method you liked better and why.In your responses to peers, compare and contrast your preferences for how to solve quadratic equations.=====================================================wk 3) Your task for this discussion is as follows:Fill in the table with what you are typically doing during each of the following times.Time (T) Activity (A)4 AM 8 AM 12 PM 4 PM 8 PM 12 AM Represent your relation (T, A) in an alternative manner other than the table created in part (a). (i.e., as ordered pairs or with a mapping diagram.)Determine whether or not your relation is a function. Why or why not?In your responses to peers, comment on whether or not you think their relations are also functions.
