Optical lever is a device used to magnify small displacements to measure them correctly. The optical lever has a small mirror plate P in the middle of the instrument . It has two points pivots which are used to magnify the required displacement by (delta L ) .It raises the image magnification by delta L with and angle θ. and we see the magnified image at lens Y.
