Why were there discontented people in this time period? Why did China have the height of its power under the Song dynasty? How did gunpower shape empires? In this discussion I choose question 1, going over why and how India allowed syncretism was mainly brought out from interactions with Muslims and Hindus religions. The Muslims and Hindus experienced a clash of cultural and religious outlooks though history of India. This focused on the different religioius civilizations. Hindu focused on what was very much so a ruthless conquest. Muslims did not have high regard for anyone who no acts are out of bounds. There was no common ground between the two in India which really caused this social and political syncretism. Hostility toward one another cultures aloowed for both to live and to actually coexist. Neither the Muslims nor Hindus in India choose to adapt to the others ways. There was an attempt to bring togehter the gulf of Hindus and Muslims by Sikhs but was not successful at all. The differences between the two allowed for the other to develop their own way of living even more. As far as China's developments their were discontented people. Scholars and actual officials persuaded belief within the Song Dynasty (960-1279) as stated on page 323. The Tang dynasty fell and was told to the people that is is due to the influence of Buddism. China forcing religious civilizations differs from India. Cultures begin to clash having two main divisions agmonst religions and cultures.
