A power plant operates on an ideal Rankine cycle with open feed water heater. The steam enters the first turbine at 10MPa and 483 ⁰C and is expanded to pressure 0.32MPa. At that location a portion of the steam is diverted to the feedwater heater. The remaining steam enters the 2nd turbine and expanded to 18 KPa. Find the fraction of the steam that is diverted to the feed water heater.
