Question Description

At a ski resort there were 10 feet of snow on the ground. A blizzard blew in and dumped 3 inches of snow per hour. The function y=1/4x+10 represents the total feet of snow(y) after snowing (x) hours. If the blizzard started at 12:00 noon, at what time would there be 11 3/4 feet of snow on the ground?
